Voter Registration
Use the above link to download a voter registration form in English or in Spanish. The registration deadline, if you plan to vote in the November 4, 2008 General Election is October 20, 2008.

Time Off to Vote
By California law, you're permitted to take two hours off to vote, without losing any pay. You may take as long as you need to vote -- either at the beginning or the end of your shift (or by agreement with your employer). But only two of those hours will be paid. You must notify your employer two days in advance if you require time off to vote.
