Hoover Tower - Stanford University
Hoover Tower has a public observation deck with extended views of the surrounding area. The tower was built in 1941 to commemorate Stanford's 50th anniversary. Hoover Tower is part of the Hoover Institution on War, Revolution and Peace at Stanford -- a public policy research institute. (Herbert Hoover graduated from Stanford in 1895.)
