Stanford University Campus

The Stanford University campus lies 30 miles south of San Francisco in the city of Palo Alto. It's an architecturally stunning campus, with its earliest designs sketched by Frederick Law Olmstead (of Central Park fame).

Boston architect, Charles Allerton Coolidge, conceived the Romanesque style buildings and archways and implemented the design with sandstone from a San Jose quarry.
