Lucy Evans Baylands Nature Interpretive Center

To visit the Lucy Evans Center, drive to the east end of Embarcadero Road. At the T in the road, veer left and follow the road to the end where you'll find a parking lot just outside the Interpretive Center.

Lucy Evans was a Stanford graduate and community activist whose fought for the preservation of the wetlands. The Interpretive Center named for her has information on the Baylands preserve and its history, as well as special programs and activities such as nature walks and classes.

Just outside the center toward the bay is the lovely Boardwalk Trail (next page) which is a quarter-mile walk out toward San Francisco Bay.
