Boardwalk Trail View
This image shows the view from the Boardwalk Trail toward the northeast and Dumbarton Bridge. The bridge is the southernmost crossing San Francisco Bay, and also the first auto bridge built across the bay. It spans 1.2 miles from the Fremont/Newark area at the east end of the bridge, to Menlo Park and Palo Alto on the west side.
Visible just north of the bridge's east end are the hills of Coyote Hills Regional Park. From the park, you have a panoramic view west and south to the bay and Peninsula.
