San Francisco Explorer Cruise - Formerly the Ferry Building Line

Updated April 2008: This cruise was originally called the Ferry Building Line Cruise. It is now the San Francisco Explorer Cruise and departs from Pier 43-1/2 instead of the Ferry Building.

Red and White Fleet runs the San Francisco Explorer Cruise which takes passengers on a 90-minute tour around San Francisco Bay. The Explorer Line incorporates three separate audio tours from which passengers can choose: San Francisco Architecture, the Native American Experience, or Natural History.

The cruise begins at Pier 43-1/2, passes AT&T Park and Yerba Buena Island, goes under the Bay Bridge and the new bridge construction, then out past Alcatraz before returning. You can see a map of the route here at the Red and White Fleet website.
