Take the trail mentioned on the previous page, veering to the left. As you descend a short way, you'll come upon a foot bridge. Cross the bridge and turn left to follow the main trail through a short stretch of meadow.

You'll see another foot bridge ahead (pictured here) and just beyond that, a fork in the trail. The trail marker will show the Jewel Lake Trail to the left (duck symbol), and the Sylvan Trail (three trees symbol) to the right. Follow the markers for the Sylvan Trail.
