Giants Community Fund Golf Classic
The Giants Community Fund supports the Junior Giants -- as well as public awareness campaigns and community efforts in the areas of education, literacy, health and violence prevention. The Junior Giants free summer program provides baseball training, equipment and uniforms to more than 13,000 kids in rural communities and inner cities.
The annual Golf Classic marks its 18th anniversary in 2008, and is the largest fundraiser for the Giants Community Fund. Participants play for a great cause -- with members of the San Francisco Giants, alumni, executives and other sports celebrities.
The 2008 Golf Classic will be held on July 21 at the Olympic Club in San Francisco.
