The walk to Grand View Park in the Sunset district is an uphill hike most of the way. The reward is ripped calves and a panoramic view of San Francisco from the top.

To get to Grand View Park from the Sunset District, take Funston Avenue south, up the hill and past St. Anne of the Sunset church.

The original St. Anne's wooden church was destroyed in the 1906 earthquake. This structure was built in 1933 and seats 1200 people.
