Peets Coffee on Fourth Street

The Ocean View neighborhood is the oldest inhabited location in the area so it's fitting that one of the Bay Area's original coffee houses, Peets, has a store at this spot. Alfred Peet, whose family ran a coffee business in Holland, opened Peets in 1966 at the original Vine Street location near the UC Berkeley campus. Peets has since spread beyond San Francisco and the Bay Area but remains a local favorite.
