Hayes Valley Photos
Hayes Valley is one of San Francisco's newer areas in terms of commercial development. Formerly a sketchy part of town, the neighborhood is now home to some of the city's high-end restaurants and shops.
Hayes Valley is also a short distance from Civic Center and City Hall -- the heart of the city's government and also home to classical performing arts venues - opera, symphony, and ballet.
