The Red Vic or Red Victorian began as a resort hotel (the Haight was once a resort destination). In the 60s, the Red Vic became a hippie hang known as the 'Jeffrey.' Today, it's a bed-and-breakfast. The Red Victorian is also home to the Peace Cafe which hosts peace-themed discussions and events, as well as musical performances.
