The Bay Area Discovery Museum is a children's museum located at Fort Baker in Sausalito.

Just across the Golden Gate Bridge from San Francisco, the Discovery Museum provides a diverse set of activities for kids -- including special toddler areas and play and discovery areas for older children.

The Bay Area Discovery Museum has been recognized repeatedly as a top children's museum -- in publications such as Bay Area Parent and the San Francisco Chronicle.

The location is spectacular from a visual standpoint. From the Bay Area Discovery Museum's vantage point, you have a direct view of the San Francisco skyline, as well as views to the Golden Gate Bridge from below.
