California Palace of the Legion of Honor - San Francisco
The Palace of the Legion of Honor in the Outer Richmond is a bit of a trek from downtown San Francisco. But the natural splendor of the setting is well worth the trip. From the Legion of Honor, a number of excursions are possible, including a walk along the Lands End Trail, a visit to the ruins of the historic Sutro Baths, or a luncheon or drink at the Cliff House, overlooking the Pacific Ocean.
