Miwok Trail - Marin Headlands
This photo tour takes you from the Miwok Trail starting point on Bunker Road in the Marin Headlands -- up a moderate hike to the Wolf Ridge Trail -- then over the bluff on the Coastal Trail, down to Rodeo Beach.
Along the way you'll be in grassland, coastal scrub, and, at times, overwhelmed by the views of the Pacific and of the Golden Gate from the top of the hill above Rodeo Beach.
The hike is moderate because of its ascent, but it's not steep or dangerous at any point.
