SF SPCA 140th Anniversary Celebration

5th Annual San Francisco Irish Film Festival
March 5 and 6 - Roxie Theatre

2nd Annual Funniest Celebrity in the Bay Area Contest
March 18 - 6p to 10p - Great American Music Hall
Celebrity contestants perform short sets of stand-up comedy, judged by a panel of peers, who will crown this year’s Funniest Celebrity in the Bay Area. Contestants include: San Francisco Giants stadium announcer and KISS-FM on-air personality Renel Brooks-Moon; entertainment critic Jan Wahl of KRON 4 TV and KCBS Radio; former San Francisco Board of Supervisors president Angela Alioto; Fashion Show Producer, Charleston Pierce; Mike Sugarman of CBS 5 News; Liam Mayclem of Eye on the Bay; SF Bay Guardian’'s Riley Manlapaz; and Jamie Williams, former 49er Super Bowl champion, initial writer of the film, “Any Given Sunday” and current Athletic Director of the Academy of Art University will kick the show off with the first joke of the night. Host of KQED’s Forum (and last year’s runner-up) Michael Krasny will Emcee.
