Contra Costa County Cooling Centers

By Ingrid Taylar, About.com

These Contra Costa cooling centers are open to provide cooling shelter during heat waves and temperature highs.

If you have a cooling center that's not listed here, please feel free to submit your information -- to be included in this directory: Submission Form.

Most senior centers are open during the week for cooling hours. Some will have cooling center hours on weekends if activities are occurring that weekend. Please phone ahead to make sure the center is open and to check on hours of operation.
