San Francisco Habitat Restoration
Clearing trails and pulling non-native foliage may sound completely selfless but it's not. It's actually a great way to spend time in our local parks, while meeting like-minded people who have an interest in the welfare of our natural habitat and wildlife.
From projects in the Presidio to creek restorations in Berkeley, there are opportunities in every part of the San Francisco Bay Area. San Francisco Resources are listed on this page, with other areas around the Bay listed on subsequent pages.
If your organization needs volunteers for habitat restoration projects around the Bay Area, send your information by e-mail for possible inclusion in this guide.
