Kaiser Permanente Farmers' Market
The small Kaiser market operates on Wednesdays and is a California Certified Market. In 2005, a panel hosted by CUESA found that the Kaiser markets – because of their location on company sites -- were an effective and innovative way to draw new customers to farmers' markets in general.

  • Wednesdays: 10:00a to 2:00p
    Geary (at St. Joseph’s Street)
    San Francisco, CA 94118

UN Plaza Farmers' Market

The prices are great, and you’ll stuff more produce in your bag for $10 than you will at the Ferry Plaza Farmers' Market. From an aesthetic standpoint, the Civic Center market is in a grittier part of town. But it's a San Francisco old-timer, is ethnically diverse, and convenient for locals.

  • Wednesdays: 7:00a - 5:30p
1182 Market Street (at 8th Street & Grove)
    San Francisco, CA 94102

There is also a Sunday farmers' market at UN Plaza.

San Mateo Farmers' Market

  • Wednesdays: 9:00a to 1:00p[/li

Larger market on Saturdays. See Saturday Farmers' Markets for full listing.
