Imperial Tea Court - San Francisco Ferry Building

Imperial Tea Court opened its first store in Chinatown in the early 1990s, and now has a tea room at the San Francisco Ferry Building and also at Epicurious Garden in Berkeley, across the Bay.

The original Imperial Tea Court location on Powell Street closed its doors in late 2007.

The drinking experience at Imperial Tea can be simple and familiar -- or an opportunity to delve into more obscure tea varieties and traditional preparations.
