From the platform, appreciate the view north to Marin, west to the Pacific, and south to the Sutro Baths and the Cliff House. This spot is also a great place to take sunset photographs over Lands End, with great light reflections in the water of the bath ruins.
Moving north on the plateau, you'll see a set of stairs and a gravel trail beyond that, on the right. Ascend the stairs to access the portion of the Coastal Trail that will take you around the bend at Lands End.
