Coyote Hills Regional Park
Coyote Hills is almost 1000 acres of hilly terrain, marshes and wetlands, grasslands, and panoramic views of San Francisco Bay from the peaks. The park has hiking and biking trails, and is home to the western leg of the Alameda Creek trail which stretches into Fremont, to Niles Canyon.
As with many parks in the East Bay Regional Parks District, Coyote Hills has a central visitor center with natural history exhibits and information on the original Ohlone inhabitants of the region.
In additional to outdoor activities, Coyote Hills Regional Park offers a variety of adult and children's educational and naturalist programs as well as picnic areas near the visitor center.
