How to Submit Events to About San Francisco

One of the most common e-mails is a request for a community event listing. (Well, that and 270 pieces of illicit spam.) Unfortunately, we can't post every listing we receive. But, there are still ways to promote your event at About San Francisco.

Submit Your Bay Area Annual Festival

To submit a festival or annual event for consideration, use the Festival Submission Form.

If you have press materials, please feel to send them to sanfrancisco.guide@about.com.

You may also post your event in the Event Message Boards (listed below) for additional promotion.

Submit a San Francisco/Bay Area Community Event

If you're promoting an event that falls outside of these parameters (community or neighborhood event, shows at clubs, smaller events, gallery exhibits, band performances, etc.) please feel free to post details on the Event Message Boards:

  1. Promote Your Event - SUMMER (Jun/Jul/Aug)
  2. Promote Your Event - FALL (Sep/Oct/Nov)
  3. Promote Your Event - WINTER (Dec/Jan/Feb)

All events for the current month will be moved by the moderator to the CURRENT MONTH (read-only) listings.
