San Francisco Muni Metro Stops

At first glance, this Muni Metro map seems cluttered with Muni Stops. But -- the best way to view the map is to zoom in to the desired area of the city, using the (+) and (-) signs. Then click on the station for which you'd like more information. Each station shows the Metro lines that pass through that particular stop.

These stops represent stations along the Muni Metro system, which includes trains and streetcars. For bus routes, see the Muni' site's comprehensive Route and Schedule page.

For door-to-door trip planning within San Francisco, use Hop Stop or Google Transit.

(Outside of San Francisco, use the 511.org trip planner which includes BART system links.)

Lines are all shown in red, with underground portions in pink. For a more detailed overview of line numbers with their associated line colors, see a San Francisco Muni Metro Map.

* Note that along Market Street, from Embarcadero Station to Castro Street Station, the F-Market line runs above ground on Market Street. The other lines listed run in the subway tunnel -- along with BART trains.
