2008 Olympic Torch Route in San Francisco

April 9, 2008 - Starts at 1:00p

This map shows the route the Olympic Torch will travel in San Francisco on April 9, 2008. The torch will start at McCovey Cove at 1:00p and travel down the Embarcadero to Fisherman's Wharf, then back on Bay Street and along the Embarcadero again, finishing at Justin Herman Plaza. Protesters and supporters of Tibet are permitted at Justin Herman Plaza and at various spots along the route. See the Olympic Torch Protest Website for more information on organized protests and for links to coalition members in support of Tibet.

(The red line shows the outbound route from the starting point at McCovey Cove. The blue line shows the route back to Justin Herman Plaza from the Polk turn.)
