Third Yerba Buena Gallery Walk

Friday October 24, 2008
The Yerba Buena Gallery Walk is back for a third time, adding more galleries to the tour and offering bites from local spots like Oola, Beard Papa, Samovar and supperclub (among others). In all, 13 galleries will be participating, giving gallery walkers a chance to peruse diverse exhibitions of paintings, photographs, sculptures and mixed-media works -- as well as meet the artists in some of the galleries.

The Yerba Buena Gallery Walk is sponsored by Yerba Buena Alliance. The first walk drew 500 people to six galleries. The gallery walk last spring saw more than 1500 visitors. It all happens from 1p to 6p on October 25 -- within a two-and-a-half block radius between Market and Harrison and between 2nd and 5th. Admission to the event is free.
