Frameline 32: International LGBT Film Festival

Monday June 16, 2008
If you're heading to Frameline -- San Francisco's International LGBT Film Festival -- you'll be in great company. With annual attendance of 60,000 to 80,000 people, Frameline is the longest running LGBT film festival (2008 is its 32nd year).

The festival will showcase more than 230 films, both feature length and short. The roster includes works from first-time filmmakers, as well as new films from pioneers of queer cinema, like Barbara Hammer and Bruce LaBruce.

Frameline 32 opens on June 19 and runs through June 29. The festival opens at the Castro Theatre with the West Coast Premiere of Affinity, directed by Tim Fywell and based on the 1999 novel by Sarah Waters.
