Register for Escape from the Rock Triathlon

For 27 years, the Escape from the Rock Triathlon has been torturing -- I mean thrilling -- participants with its Alcatraz-based course. San Francisco Bay's 60-degree mark isn't exactly a bathtub, so wetsuits are recommended (but not required).

The 28th annual event is open to 700 people -- and will likely sell out. It happens August 24, 2008 and the fee is $200/person or $100 if you do the swim only.
