Mission District Murals - Photo Gallery

Monday November 5, 2007
You can barely turn a corner in the Mission District without smacking into a stunning work of art. Murals that adorn the shops, schools and walls throughout the area constitute an outdoor gallery. Mural-dedicated alleys like Balmy Alley and Clarion are corridors of color and cultural style.

If you or your out of town visitors are planning a mural walk in the area, be sure to stop by Precita Eyes Mural Arts Center on 24th Street for information on the neighborhood's art projects. Precita Eyes also offers guided public and private mural tours.

If you're new to the city or to the Mission District, you can get a glimpse of the Mission's murals by checking out some of the works depicted in this Mission Mural Gallery.
